Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain - Collector's Edition Unboxing

I sprung for the Collector's Edition of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Just a quick unboxing video showing the goodies and what comes with this version of the retail. Nothing too special. But if you liked this there will be a couple more like it coming soon.

As always, thanks for watching. If you'd be so nice to subscribe to the channel, I'd really appreciate it. I will have more and more content as the months are coming since more and more games are coming.

Thanks,

Rich

Press Start - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

In this video we take a look at the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to determine if it really is as good, as all those incredibly high review scores are giving it. This is my first Witcher game ever, so let's take a peak and see what all the fuss is about!

I want to keep the Press Start videos a little bit shorter, and not so much of a 25-30 minute lets play, and more of a quick introduction to the game play you're going to be going up against right off the bat, while talking about some of the finer points of the game, as well as the lows, and whether or not I think you should pick it up!

The video schedule for the next few will hopefully be:

Press Start - Destiny - House of Wolves DLC
Press Start - Final Fantasy X HD Remaster
Press Start - Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster
Press Play - GTA V heists

As always thanks for checking everything out. Any type of support, comments, criticisms, etc., are always greatly appreciated. Subscriptions especially on Youtube. Feel free to find me at everything here below!

Thanks!

Rich

Bloodborne: How to Kill the Amygdala - easy boss Strategy

In this video we will be taking a look at taking on the Amygdala. He kind of sucks, because he has like 6 arms and his feet and tail are heavily armored, but I show you the good spots to hit, and how to keep him moving in hopes he doesn't squish you with his weird Alien like head!

I think I will only have about 1 more video with Bloodborne, and then maybe moving onto some Final Fantasy X/X-2 for a video or so, and then probably going to end up with the Wither 3, and then some Arkham Knight. I'll probably end up peppering in some more Hardline, and GTA Online, as well as Destiny's House of Wolves content. Damn you Bungie for not putting in a raid. But as always, thanks for checking this out. A Youtube sub would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rich

Bloodborne - The One Reborn Boss Fight the easy way

Hey guys, sorry I haven't put up a video in a week or so, been super busy. But, in this video we will be taking a look at taking on The One Reborn in the Yahar'Gul zone of Bloodborne. Not too difficult of a fight, seeing as to how he's a giant amalgamation of stuff. He does hit pretty hard if you get stuck, but can't really chase you down. It's a quick one though!

Thanks!

Rich

Bloodborne - Rom, the Vacuous Spider

In this video we will be taking a look at taking on Rom, the Vacuous Spider, and the easiest way possible to kill him. It may be a glitch that has since just been patched, but it's definitely a lot easier doing it this way! As always thanks for watching, subs would be greatly appreciated!

thanks,
Rich

Bloodborne - How to kill the Shadow of Yarnham, the easy way!

In this video we will be taking a look at taking on the Shadow of Yarnham 3 man boss. Not super tough in the least, especially with a cooperator or two. I got lucky enough to have two players tag along and help out with the boss. As always a sub would be greatly appreciated and loved!

thanks,

Rich

Bloodborne: Villager Glitch

Just happened to come across this wonderful infected villager stuck in a roof. I have seen these a few times but this is the first one I've actually captured. I have been really enjoying this game though, and I'm almost, almost done. I think. Keep an eye out for more videos soon. And subscriptions are always appreciated and loved!

thanks,
Rich

Bloodborne - Where to find the Suspicious Beggar (and how to kill him!)

There's a creepy bloody dude on the top of a building with dead people around him, and he's covered in blood. Should you let him in? Probably not. In this video we check out to see if letting the Suspicious Beggar into the Chapel is a good idea. It isn't. So I also show you how to cheese him. Hard. But effectively. Because I learned the hard way, he's strong and fast and a jerk. As always a sub would be greatly appreciated and any type of feedback is the same. More to come! Check out the video below!

Thanks,

Rich

Bloodborne - How to beat Vicar Amelia

This video won't be that long, or super informative, as I'm sure if you're playing Bloodborne currently you're past this. Unless you got sidetracked. In that case, here's help on how to beat Vicar Amelia. She's a pretty easy encounter with some good weak points to look out for. Otherwise look out for some more videos either in this, or I'll probably be picking up Dark Souls 2 and doing a How Long Can I Survive? run! Which in reality will probably last until around the first Pursuer fight if I don't summon anyone in. But then again if I try to summon someone, I'll probably end up invaded and then die that way. But that doesn't count, right? Because people are jerks. But anyway, hopefully it helps. And as dirty as it makes me feel to ask, but if you don't mind maybe give the subscription button a press.

thanks,

Rich

Bloodborne: Hypogean Gaol - How to get Adella the Nun

I put together a quick little video describing how to get to the side quest area of Yahar-Gul, or the Hypogean Gaol. You'll need to find a Snatcher. The easiest one is right outside of the Cathedral Ward, right after you kill the Bloodstarved beast. The, to get to Adella, you need to have killed the Blood Starved Beast, but not have gone past killing Rom, the Vacuous Spider, or else it will have been to late to save Adella. They only spawn in specific places. There is one right outside of the Cathedral Ward.  also need to be wearing a certain piece of clothing.
One's that work are:

  • Gascoignes set
  • White/Black Church set
  • Executioner Garb.
Hope this helps!

Thanks,
Rich

How long can I survive Bloodborne: Ep 5

We meet the Blood Starved Beast. I find some good stagger points on him and whittle him down pretty far. Do I end up taking him out? Probably not because he's a bit of a dick. We push all the way down, find some more secret passages, and I get overly excited about it, and probably a bit too cautious. There is also a treat after the ending of the video. Thanks for tuning in!If you like, hit the subscribe button, I'll be doing a lot of different game genres in the future.

As always thanks for your time,
Rich

Bloodborne: How long can I survive? Ep. 4

We push further into the fray in Old Yarnham. Werewolves. Werewolves everywhere. And is that a human? Or am I just that stupid. Will I die or won't I? Guess you'll have to find out. Thankfully we had no issues with this episode recording wise. I also seem like an idiot in one part thinking something is something that it completely isn't. What else is new?

We find some shortcuts in this episode, along with finding the stagger points for a couple of the enemies.

Thanks,

Rich

Bloodborne: How long can I survive? Ep. 3

Well, here we are. Did I die? Do you not care? Who knows. We unfortunately ran into more technical difficulties. But, the fact of the matter is that we're pressing on. We clear up some enemies in here, including Gascoigne (unfortunately, not pictured). And I show off some of the points of stagger for some of the bigger enemies, as well as show off some of the next area outside the church. Also, what happens when you bring the Red Jeweled broach to the little girl in the window, as well as where to get your first follower. Check out the video, a little on the longer side, and see how well it goes.

Thanks for watching!

How long can I survive Bloodborne? Ep. 2 - Church and Sewer walkthrough

We (somewhat) survived episode one, and after some technical difficulties, we've made it into episode 2 with high hopes. We conquered the Cleric beast and unlocked our second lamp, and now we progress into the church and sewers. Check out to see if I can legitimately not die this round while facing off with some of Bloodborne's early enemies. Also I show where to get the Saw spear, and the Hunter armor set.

Thanks!
Rich

Bloodborne - How long can I survive?

Bloodborne came out on Tuesday, and it's about time that I dove into the game head first and see how many times I can cheat death. From a notoriously brutal game maker, let's see how well I can manage my life. Check it out for yourself

Thanks for stopping by,

Destiny Beta - 5 Point Review

I know it's just a beta, but Destiny is a different animal all together. Coupled with the fact that there hasn't been much released in the past few weeks, nor will there be in the next few, it fits pretty well into the formula. So, here we go.

Destiny Beta

Summary - The plot of Destiny as a whole is still a little unclear to me. Maybe because I don't want to have it spoiled, but I didn't pay attention much in the Beta in terms of story. What I do remember is you are a guardian, awoken at some point in time by your companion Ghost, voiced by Peter Dinklage, and asked to help solve the problem of a violent repressive alien species. I think. It is a little similar to Halo, but I'm not really going to complain. All in all, the Beta was a lot of fun. It feels like an MMO mixed into a Sci-Fi world. Intergalactic travel, fun and rewarded gun play, different classes and abilities, a slew of weapons, vehicle combat, great voice acting. If you didn't get to try out the Beta, I am a little sorry for you. It has me super excited for what's to come in September.

Pros
  • Everything feels fluid, and intended. Movement, recoil, vehicles, specials, environments
  • Ability trees are everywhere, and it's a good thing
  • Multiplayer is different enough to be fresh, and we only had one game type
  • Story missions were repeatable, and easy to track where to go next
  • The Tower gives you the feeling of an MMO without being too overwhelming
  • It is genuinely a ton of fun, and puts an awesome spin on the FPS genre
  • Hopping into a fire team with friends is a breeze
Cons
  • The in game vehicles are slightly over powering
  • Single player weapons carry into multiplayer, possibly giving an unfair advantage to specific players. It will hopefully be addressed in the full game
  • Story was somewhat confusing, even for the few hours I spent trying to figure it out
  • Wasn't much enemy variation, but I expect that to change come full release
  • I wanted more!
Should you (have) played it? - I hope you did because it was just a really good time, and an amazing look of what's to come from Bungie. From what I've played, they deserve all the praise and attention they've been getting. So when it comes out, yes you should absolutely play it.

Should you buy it? - Reread the section about, yes you should 100% buy this game. It's an MMO that Bungie plans to support for years to come. Buy two if you have to.

Score - I'm not going to give it a score simply because it was a Beta. It plays like a more defined Halo, with multiplayer added in. Have a dash of Borderlands, Fallout, and any MMO. So whatever you think that equals out to, we'll go with that.

New GTA V TV trailer and It continues to impress

Another trailer has dropped, this time geared towards the television audience, as it's only clocked in at a minute long. But it is ripe with new shots, and heavy on the story. It appears like two of the main characters, Michael and Trevor, have been best friends for 10+ years, and that Trevor is one of the major reasons that Michael heads back into the heist game. Franklin also seems to have ties to the two, pretty heavily. I'm not sure if this story info was ever really divulged much, but it's clear they all have some sort of past, or at least know what each other is capable of. The balding blonde haired guy in the glasses also seems to be somewhat heavily involved in the story and heists, as he is pretty excited that Michael is back. The trailer is heavy on showing off the heists, Michael having a meeting with more than just the two usual cast, ripping what looks to be hard drives out of servers, removing glass panes for stealth entrances, and what is definitely a surprise is a Juggernaut style game play segment. Someone is running down the street in full bomb disposal gear with a mini gun, just plain wreaking havoc on everything in his way. Explosions, jets, high speed chases, gun fights, and Trevor smashing his head on a pallet are all in there too. If you're not excited for this game, check your pulse. Watch the trailer below.

Grand Theft Auto V comes out on September 17th, 2013 on Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
